The driver, passengers and pedestrians are all safer thanks to preventative measures and a high level of active and passive features. The Koleos has cruise control with speed limiter, ABS and Emergency Brake Assist and six airbags as standard. In the event of impact, the doors unlock automatically, fuel injection is cut and hazard lights turn on.

The Koleos is able to quickly correct dangerous driving situations. The Electronic Stability Programme controls and corrects trajectory, while the braking assistance reduces stopping distance. Since it may be required to operate on challenging inclines, the Koleos 4x4 is equipped with a speed stabiliser set to 7km/h on gradients of 10% or more.

And safety continues after you've switched off the engine too – the 'see me home' lighting function keeps the headlights on momentarily to help guide you to your front door in the dark.

The split tailgate transforms into a picnic seat and assists in the loading of heavy items. In both the front and back of the cabin, flaps and stowage offer ingenious space solutions, including a 15-litre lit and air-chilled glovebox.  

The luxurious appointed Privilege model features leather-trimmed upholstery, Bose^® sound system and a vast front-opening electric sunroof maximising the amount of light entering the cabin. And for maximum sun protection, Koleos Dynamique and Privilege models come standard with rear sunblinds.
