The Renault F1 Team took the covers off its 2010 challenger, the R30, at the Valencia circuit in Spain.

Renault F1 Team driver Robert Kubica was on hand to unveil the car and reveal the exciting new black and yellow livery – the iconic colours made famous by Renault in the 1980s. The team also presented Vitaly Petrov as Robert’s teammate for the 2010 season. The 25-year-old finished as runner-up in the GP2 Series last year and becomes the first Russian driver to race in Formula One.

Team Principal, Eric Boullier said of the new car “We’ve been working flat-out during the winter to ensure that we begin the new season in the best shape possible. The R30 should be a competitive, strong and reliable car, and we've opted for an aggressive development strategy throughout the season.”

As well as the new car and driver line up, Renault F1 are also proud to announce as official time keeper to the team, watch maker TW Steel.

The first race of the season takes place on March 14th in Bahrain and is quickly followed by the Australian Grand Prix on March 28th. To get close to all the action, go to the official Renault F1 web site and experience first hand the new race livery.

The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) with the assistance of automotive members, have developed a new Drive Away Price Calculation application. It is a standardised web-services calculator which will be used to calculate a single final drive away price that will comply with the Component Pricing legislation as outlined by the Australian Competition Consumer Commission (ACCC).

Renault Australia will launch this new application online in the coming months.
 

Renault launched in December 2009, its own TV Channel in France and in the UK, becoming the first carmaker to have launched its own branded-entertainment channel internationally, strengthening its presence with the general public.
