Renault Master delivers Melbourne’s Butcher of Distinction

As a boy, Peter Bouchier loved helping his father run the butcher shop in the small Victorian township of Noorat, before undertaking his apprenticeship in Toorak, Victoria, and joining 13 other members of his family in the trade.

Four years later Peter began managing the shop in Toorak and in 1983 he purchased it from his boss, creating Peter G Bouchier – Butchers of Distinction.

Since then, Peter’s business has expanded and he now employs 60 staff that supply specialty meats to the top Delis and Cafes throughout Melbourne.

To stay ahead of the game Peter provides a delivery service and after much researching, he settled on the Renault Master to power this part of the business.

In an interview with Peter, he said, “we have two Renault Masters and we will be purchasing more to replace existing vehicles. The size and maneuverability makes them ideal for our business. They drive just like a car. And reliability is vital, as the refrigerated load area must be kept at the right temperature at all times”.

“One reason we settled on the Renault Master is they are an ideal size for us and each morning we forklift in a couple of pallet loads of 20kg cartons of meat and small goods.
