Renault Trafic is ready to race with new Formula Edition.

To celebrate the delivery of the first Renault Trafic vans to the Renault Sport Formula 1 team, Renault LCV developed a Formula Edition, 80 of which have just landed in Australia.

From the racetrack to the road.

The Renault Sport Formula 1 team’s vans are used for delivery of parts for its race machines, because time is critical when it comes to getting them built and tested. They are also used for new parts to be delivered to

the test or race track, when the team is competing in Europe.

“The Renault Trafic Formula Edition vans are on the grid, revved up and ready to race out of the showroom,” said Mr Lyndon Healey, Senior Model Line Manager for Renault LCV.

Stand out from the crowd.

“These limited edition models are easy to identify from the exterior colour, with a choice of black or grey. One the inside, there are a number of additional comfort and convenience features and fortunately for drivers who may spend many hours a day behind the wheel, there’s no need for a helmet while driving one of these Trafics.”

The two exterior colour choices, Jet Black or Storm Grey, are subtly enhanced with yellow Renault Sport F1 highlights. Short and long wheelbase variants give all types of Trafic van buyers the option to acquire one of these Limited Edition beauties.

The full exterior pack for the Formula Edition comprises a body coloured front bumper, rear light surrounds and door rail, black-painted 17 inch ‘Cyclade’ alloy wheels with yellow centre caps, a unique black Renault diamond bonnet badge, yellow upper and lower grille inserts, yellow fog lamp surrounds, ‘Formula Edition’ side stripes and an anti-theft spare wheel holder.

Impressive interior.

Inside, there is dark cloth upholstery with a heated driver’s seat, media navigation system with seven inch touchscreen, premium dashboard layout with storage compartment, chrome instrument panel surround, gloss black side air vent surrounds, leather covered gear selector with chrome-plated trim, chrome-plated speaker surround, ‘Formula Edition’ floor mats, the incredibly useful wide-view mirror, deadlocking security system and LED ceiling lights.

The Renault Trafic Formula Edition goes on sale nationally Thursday 1st June, 2017.

The unique Renault Trafic Formula Edition comes to market at a national drive-away price of $41,490 for the twin turbo short wheelbase model, while the long wheelbase version is priced from $42,990 for ABN holders untill the 30th June 2017.
