Motorsport is embedded in Renault’s DNA, and have had plenty of success in Formula OneTM since the 1970s. You may not know, that Renault invented the turbocharger for the Formula OneTM in its first vehicle, the Renault R.S.01.
For many years Renault has been a leader in engine technology, and the results speak for themselves with Renault-powered teams winning 12 Constructor’s Titles and 11 Drivers’ Titles since 1992.
In recent years Renault returned to the grid as a constructor. In 2018 the Renault Sport Formula OneTM team will race the Renault R.S.18. The chassis is developed and manufactured in Enstone (United Kingdom), whilst the Renault R.E.18 power unit is developed in Viry-Châtillon. It's first display will be at the F1™ Rolex Australian Grand Prix in March 2018.
