RENAULT ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR AUSTRALIA
MELBOURNE, Australia (Thursday 02 May 2019) – Renault has announced the appointment of Anouk Poelmann as the brand’s new Managing Director in Australia commencing 06 May 2019.
Poelmann has held numerous senior leadership and management positions across Europe and internationally, and joins Renault Australia following a two year role as a member of the Inchcape Australasia Executive Team and Managing Director Peugeot Citroen Australia where she gained an in-depth understanding of the Australian automotive distribution, retail and importation landscape, giving her a broad commercial and marketing skills base for the role at Renault.
Poelmann has accrued a wealth of experience in general management, change management, marketing and sales in international and small/medium-sized companies, having worked with both wholesale and retail organisations. She previously developed an experience of both operational and strategic management and she managed business turnarounds and disruptive transformations in Switzerland and Russia.
Holding a Masters’ degree in Finance and Commercial Economics Poelmann is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
