Renault hits a high five with all-new LCV servicing program
July 1, 2020
Renault has delivered a high five to Australian small business owners with the introduction of a comprehensive five-year service program for its LCV range.
Renault’s Easy Life service program increases service coverage on Kangoo, Trafic and Master vans from three years to five and adds up to five years’ service activated roadside assistance.
“We set out to offer LCV customers the best possible coverage, with a comprehensive plan that was designed to meet their needs and provide peace of mind ownership,” said Renault Australia Aftersales Manager Matthew Wright.
“We wanted to provide a program that delivers transparency, convenience and value for business owners and the new Easy Life service program does that in spades,” he said.
The program includes up to five years’ capped servicing and matches this with up to 5 years of roadside assistance when scheduled services are performed at an authorised Renault service centre.
“The new program was studied across all three nameplates in Renault’s hard working LCV range^. We’ve worked to improve transparency by including nearly all items previously additional to the published schedule such as air and pollen filters, coolant and brake fluid replacement and accessory drive belts as standard.
“In tandem with five years’ capped price servicing, it means Renault customers can purchase with absolute pricing certainty in line with the total warranty period. Backed up by our 24/7 nationwide roadside assistance, it delivers true peace of mind ownership.”
Wright said Renault worked with Dealers and carefully reviewed real-world owner servicing behaviour to supply a service program tailored to each nameplate, meaning each vehicle spent less time in the showroom and more time earning money on the road.
“Our data shows Kangoo owners average around 18,000 kilometres each year, and now comes with a five-year / 75,000km* (whichever occurs first) capped price service plan with a 12 month/15,000 km service schedule – regardless of fuel type – that is among best in class.
“When it comes to the Trafic, our numbers that show Trafic owners crisscross our cities around 25,500 kilometres per annum. With class-leading service intervals of 12 months and 30,000 kilometres, it means you could complete two full laps of mainland Australia before having to book in for a scheduled service.”
Wright said the capacious Master van had proved itself a road veteran in Australia, with the average owner racking up 30,170 kilometres of travel each year.
“With its 12 month/30,000 kilometre service schedule, it means you could run a return trip Sydney to Canberra every week for an entire year before needing to book in with one of Renault’s 57 dealers for a capped price service.”
Wright said the new Renault Easy Life service plan was engineered with small business owners in mind and built upon the success of the program launched in November 2019 on Kadjar and MY20 Koleos.
“Working with delivery drivers and small business owners we know they choose our vans for their ability to go the distance, minimize down time and maximise convenience.
“With Easy Life servicing, we’re improving the value equation even further and providing owners with the data they need to calculate running costs for up to five years.
“To ensure we provide the best possible deal, Renault is also introducing a five year, 200,000 kilometre warranty for all LCVs purchased and delivered before August 31 this year.”
