New-generation Renault Master van price and specs confirmed for Australia
Australian pricing and specifications for the award-winning, new-generation Renault Master van have been confirmed ahead of showroom arrivals of diesel variants in June 2026 and electric variants in the second half of this year.
There will initially be four diesel models in the all-new MY26 Renault Master line-up.
The fully electric version, the Renault Master E-Tech – with one of the longest driving ranges in the electric large van segment according to WLTP testing – is due in Australia in the second half of this year.
The first ground-up redesign in more than a decade – the most advanced Renault Master to date – was developed in a wind tunnel for optimum aerodynamic efficiency and comes with a range of new technology plus a ‘Platinum’ safety rating from European NCAP.
A three-seat layout with a steel bulkhead and window pane is standard on all models.
A two-seater option (with or without a steel bulkhead) is available on diesel automatic versions of the Renault Master MWB standard roof and LWB standard roof.
The new-generation Renault Master has more power, more torque, more safety equipment, and more load-carrying capacity than the model it replaces.
The updated 2.0-litre turbo diesel (125kW/380Nm) is paired with a nine-speed automatic for improved efficiency, and has long service intervals of 12 months or 30,000km (whichever comes first) to minimise downtime.
For the driver, there is a completely new cockpit – with a larger infotainment screen – yet the new Renault Master retains familiar, user-friendly buttons and dials to reduce driver distraction.
To create additional space near the centre console, the gear selector is now a wand on the steering column (matching the convenience of the latest Renault passenger cars).
New Renault Master also has the updated, rectangular version of Renault’s ‘fingertip’ audio control stalk on the steering column.
The middle of the three seats can be configured with an optional work station which, when folded down, provides a flat workspace for filling out paperwork, used as a lap top desk, or as a lunch table.
The electric Renault Master E-Tech is equipped with an 87kWh battery pack, which delivers up to 409km of driving range on a single charge according to WLTP testing.
It has a maximum charging speed of 130kW, which makes it compatible with the most widely available type of fast chargers in Australia.
Available with a choice of diesel or electric power, the new-generation Renault Master line-up is available in mid-wheelbase and long-wheelbase configurations, and standard-roof and high-roof body styles.
The side door – with the largest sliding door opening in its class* – is large enough to fit a forklift pallet, and the rear ‘barn’ doors open at an angle of 270 degrees for easier forklift access.
Diesel versions of the new Renault Master have a payload of between 1811kg to 1973kg and have a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 4000kg.
Electric versions of the new Renault Master have a payload ranging from 1084kg to 1164kg and a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 3500kg.
